I didnt buy the other 126, too messed up, only thing that could have been useful were the headlights, if they are H4, i dont know.

I had a burst of inspiration today. I think ill cover the grey dash plastic cover thingy with black leathercloth, should look smashin!

The only thing is i dont know how to remove the dash padding off, has anyone done this? The manual doesnt say anything.... :

I have removed mine here it is -

It is hooked on at the top on both sides by these clips so you need to lift it off....

At the bottom it is held in with small plastic lugs which you have to destroy to remove but local motor factors sell similar replacements!

The worst bit is where it is attached around the air blower in the middle. I just pulled mine out cos I am not putting it back but the air blower will need removing if you want to put it back! Also mine tore when I removed it, hope this helps!

I just vant to cover mine and put it back, but now a new problem has risen, how do you remove the air blowers?? I tried to do it before (so i could replace em, the left one is broken) but couldnt find any screws or anything else thet holds it in place???

I don't know how to remove the blower but if you look under the bonnet I think it is bolted under there!?!

just been out shoppin for my bis, got a new clutch plate and release bearing, and beautiful, shiny new headlights (only 5 pounds each!)

it is standard on all the 126 over here, you guys didnt get em?
mines in the back now, replacing the original "700" which i dont like very much and you guys dont have aswell :smt019 :wink:

here are pics of all badges on my car, mos of which i belive are different from the uk model:

Front Polski FIAT (moved to the back)

Rear, 700(CCs probably.. :wink: which i removed)

the weel covers snd the steering wheel have FSM on them:

The keys have the FSM logo on em too...

We just get what is in my avatar on the front but in blue on the rear we get 126 BIS.

I have one of those from an old Fiat 500 but it's a bit knackered! Also got to try and find it as I may of lost it!
