i have drilled two holes on the back at either side into witch two push button switches go, each will operate the horn!!!

Uh oh.. was out today sticking my finger in to the little rust hole in the front.. and got it stuck  ... then on trying to free my (welding gloved) hand a hure chunk of 126 face fell off!!    

The last owners did a poor glass fibre repair over rot holes with out cutting out rot and treating it.. idiots

so ive cut alot of the front panel away to good metal so i can do a PROPPER job on it..
while i was there i cut the battery tray out as im putting it inside the car in a box...

On a happy note, most of the floor pan has been welded.. the inside of the car has been painted (bar drivers door) as its getting replaced..

Ive decided to get a expert to strip my engine and fine tune it, were also looking at fixing the common gasket problems.. while were there, were opening up all the ports, polishing them, fitting a custom exhaust and twin carbs from a kawasaki er500... hopefully i will be left with a bis (the way god intended)

Has any1 cut the rear valence before to help cool the bis?

theres a whole front panel on the bay at the mo for not alot of money if yours is holed it might be easier to replace the lot... oh and nice work on the steering wheel I had to to the same to mount an astrali wheel to a momo boss -

As for that rear valance cutting, i saw a sporty bis not long ago with the valance removed, and a metal bar velded to support the engine, tbh, the shiny aluminum engine visible out the back doing what it does looked really cool, you might want to try it

well the only reasons our head gaskets blow is because they get overheated right? so adding powers only going to make things worse..

So im going for engine cooling and see what happens

get a larger rad and put it in the front boot! should freeze your Ar*e off

ill see what i can do.. lol, as for the massive holes in the front, ive cut them back to good metal and started fibre glassing.. should be fine, alot cheaper too..

i think the bis's problems are all down to the tiny engine bay and therefore poor circulation of air...

dont patch up the front! the holes are perfect for that second radiator... !
