I have a handy old school garage owner who is a family friend, only met him last month, he is the guy with the beetle bonnet. So sorted on that one. Cheers for the offer though, will get over soon anyway. Is Sara's beetle finished yet? How were the hols? Did you know PWEI are playing Birmingham O2 with Jesus Jones?

@pete- yes i know Im trying- i just keep adding stuff and it keeps taking longer to do- Im going to try and get staring on the surface prep for filling this week and getting the seat mounted so i can get all the interior welds ground down!

feel free to call chip foose and ask him to pop down and finish it for me!

@ marc-beetle engine is ready to be put back together- need to finish painting the engine bay- didnt know about pwei- Ill have to let sara know we love some pop will eat itself!

Bought a large bucket of paint stripper to do all the panel expanses (the fiddly bits will be mechanically stripped)
