Water Pump seal
« on: February 24, 2015, 09:15:09 PM »
Hi All
After many hours searching for a water pump seal "form the dealer and parts suppliers" heres what I`ve fitted
First you`ll need a new oil seal it`s a standard size so easily available from any bearing/seal supplier
30x16x7 mine cost £0.97each
As for the water pump seal the nearest size and the one that i`ve fitted was a water pump seal for a
massey ferguson model MF135 same as MF 35, the best place to get them is either ebay or a classic tractor
parts supplier mine was £7.50 delivered
Tis a Proper job ;)
Hope this helps someone out
Yer tis a proper job cause i see little people

Well after swopping out engines today, due to fiat pump seal failure taking out the head gasket:( ???
I`ve now had chance to try out the engine with the MF seal fitted and its looking proper ;)
no leaks even when up to temperature :D
