Hi ya peeps. Was on/the owners forum a few years back. But 3 house moves into/3 difo counties. Saw my trike project shelved. Now settled a lot more. So. Time to re kindle my want for the 126 bis based trike. Still need parts and still need info/and help no doubt
First part I do/need for detonate is a starter motor. As its working at all on a good battery. 
SO PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ONE TO SELL LET ME KNOW. THOUGH PLEASE KEEP PRICES REAL. As I/say I just moved so more or less broke. And Unemploid.

Welcome to the club.
How far along with the trike are you? Any photos yet?
Good parts are getting hard to find and prices are reflecting that, you might be best looking for parts on eBay from sellers who don't know how to do a good listing. Got my carb for 99p plus 10 quid postage doing that.

What kind of money are we looking at  seen a place in/France advertising free postage and new item for 70 pounds. But a second hand one hear up for 55 including post.  But they will/not answer if its in good working order or if its for the water cool bis or the older pill cord starter.

Lol. Must be a ww2 bis fiat fighter plane starter . lol. Thousand pound plus. Lol. OK I'll try to post a PIC of the trike lay out.  Says the files too bug  :$ and I am not very computer savi. Only have tesco tablet to/use :o and its not great

Hey John,

Have you tested the starter motor? Connect the starter motor across a battery as in the photo, If the motor spins the fault is in the solenoid mounted on top, These can be bought separately for about 23 euro, the only other thing to check is that the lever at the end of the solenoid is not seized and is throwing the starter gear into the ring gear on the flywheel

Cheers will double check. But we did try crossing solanoid. But might been across the two points on the solanoid its self

Got to find the parts first,  double checked the starter I have its Defo goosed dead as can be and corroded inside too.

I think i have a starter motor in my mums garage in norwich- Ill have a look the next time Im up there and let you know...
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

hi all just saying hi im near Norwich im getting my 126 at end of next month of my sis its a 91 704cc model she tells me it neas a bit of work will be fun as I work on my mk2 reliant robin so yes just a fast hi any help and tips are welcome katt xxx
