All taxed and mot'd!
When I was about to pull off from my dads to bring the car home I suddenly lost all power and the car seemed like it had ran out of fuel... bought another can of fuel and topped her up, and still no good... switched the battery over for a known good strong one and seems to be working... when I pulled up outside home though 7 miles later I noticed the battery light flickering on and off a little but then settled to off... thinking could be signs of a knackered alternator perhaps although it was having to work quite hard with the last battery

. Will see what tomorrow brings if I don't go for another drive in it this evening lol.
Not sure if its just me or if the exhaust is making a racket, but at anything higher than low rpm it seemed to be a bit noisy from the back...
I'm wondering if the fuel pump is up to much or perhaps the gasket I put on was wrong and maybe the rod is dancing around... I just don't know

.
It only changes with RPM and seems quite consistent... so hoping its just the vibing exhaust

.
Could the back rubber engine mount be tightened too much?
I have nothing to compare it to!
Got me home and feels good on the road at 50mph no problem, only managed about 5mph faster than that to be honest! The hydrocarbons test limit was at 1200ppm, the car on test only had 43ppm... I think the CO2 % limit was around 3.4% but the cars CO2 output was 0.2%.
