Can i just ask what you have done , when you install an addaptor plate inbetween gearbox and engine (for example 20mm thick ) the gearbox primary shaft will no longer reach into the spigot bearing on the flywheel (spigot bearing in rear of crank shaft ) ! so what have you done to solve this problem ?

I will use Fiat 600 gearbox so I don't need adapter plate anymore.

Update.. Sadly nothing has really happened to the car. First I thought that it would be painted already in December 2012, but it didn't happen. My friend who is going to paint the car has been so busy that he has done nothing to the car. That's why I have started to prepare it for painting myself. I have sanded the whole car from outside and now I have started to put some putty in few places.

Here are few pictures

Before christmas I took my BMW E21 to a warm garage where is also my Opel Corsa A.

It will be white.

And thanks for the compliments!  :thumbup That is really needed as I think now is the most hardest point at least from my view. I just need to push this trough and get the car painted because after that starts the nice part :D

I have said it many times before, I wish I had the skill to do what you are doing. The greatest satisfaction one could have is having to finish, and actually drive the finish product. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
