I hope you didn't go 126blackbird as VWs ruled tonight!!

I would like to say sorry to everyone as somewhere along the line I messed up and got it all wrong!!

But Italian night is DEFO 2nd september (tommorow) which if work don't mess me about I will be at and if anyone goes feel free to throw things at me..........

I made it over to the 8ball this eve, no real problems to report back on! Even had the unbelievable moment of being able to overtake someone on the A12!! Amazing, I know!

He must've been travelling at 50mph, as I was only doing 55 and I was gaining on him, fast...not a situation I thought I'd encounter in a 126! I must admit, did a happy dance in the car once I'd passed him lol!

LOL, no worries on the mess up! It was good to catch up with blackbird and see some cool VWs! There weren't too many folk there yet, as things apparently kick off a bit later in the eve and I had to leave before it got too dark, due to those lights...! Nice place though, will go again.

I'd love to be able to make it tomorrow, but there's no chance as far as I can see.

Friday's are always rubbish for getting out for me. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are my best eves to get out and meet up.

Now I feel really bad u both went, no wonder my ears were burning all night!! I went on the retro ride site & it says its the "3rd" Thursday of every month!!

Sorry again guys im gona have 2 sell my 126s now and buy a reliant robin!!

Seriously though, not a problem! It was good to get out in the car as I'd been getting a bit down about its problems, and also to know where the 8ball is (despite getting a tad lost - yes, I can get lost on the A12 (as well as in a paper bag)!).

But I do know of a nice little Robin for sale...

Well I attended the Italian night and had a nice time, good bunch of folks there (nice to meet 126blackbird) food service wasn't the fastest in the world!! It was also a shame as many didn't turn up, I think all the other forums have got one of those idiots that tells everyone its on a different night.........................DOUH!!

By the way 126blackbird the ice install is out for a while if you want to check out the exhaust?!

I see there's another Retro rides night at the 8 Ball Diner this Thursday (15th) coming. I recon I will attend this one if only to see the mad petrol heads eating burgers
