8balldiner - retro rides night 18th Aug

It appears the 8balldiner is doing a retro rides night on the 18th August - this Thurs coming...  Anyone fancy meeting up?

I think markymarc posted this as well. I would love to come but it is on a weekday. Does the event extend to the weekend? Try to go the Retro Rides. A number of members will be there!

D'oh, just read the main thread, like the big, bold one at the top... lol!  Gloucestershire??  Wow, don't think I can make that in either car, that's while I still have two and haven't fully committed to a 126-only driving life!

Oh, good heavens!  Just put it into Google maps... it's nearly bloody Wales!!! :o  It reckons it'll take me 3hrs and 19 mins - that's not counting for the 60mph max speed, the poorly gearbox, the noise and lack of stereo, and most importantly the random slalom across the country as I'll have no sat nav as there's no cig lighter to power it!  I might make it by the weekend after lol!  ;D ;D ;D

There are 2 choices for anyone close to the 8-ball diner -

Retro-rides night is the fisrt Thursday of the month (next one 1st Sept)

Italian night is the first Friday of the month (next one 2nd of Sept)

Sorry for the late reply!  ... been a mad week!

Well, I'm currently making plans to stick the car on axle stands for the forseeable as the gearbox needs to be dropped and sorted out... but the thought of making it out to the 8ball on Thurs... hmm, I'm sure it could make it there and back okay...

It would be so great to meet up (with the car as well!)!

What time are you thinking (hoping!) of getting there?

It states from 6.30 but I would prob look at 7ish, don't want my burger repeating on me all night lol
Im in coventry for work from wednesday so does really depend on journey back!!
