Great time we had there, good to see everyone.
Strange how the same fate came of yours and mine Amateb8.

I'm thinking that CV/Universal joint conversion is the way to go with mine as I'm getting tired of buying those nuts and the couplings :$

Good news Smally  ;D
I have heard from Lad by phone but there is one person we have not heard from, could he still be taking his tent down ?
Where would we have been without Pete, he showed us how to get a fully equiped tent the size of an aircraft hanger into a 126 and it doubled as the Club126uk clubhouse & social club when the nights drew in.
Memorable nights with a small group bought together by their passion for small Fiats but not all of the conversation revolved around cars, we touched on the classics , art and literature etc  ;) ;)
Despite the mechanical problems I have suffered I realy enjoyed the weekend and meeting up with known & new faces.
Despite the cars that could not make it there was a good range of cars that drew a lot of attention, Fiat 500 , Polish 126 , 126 De Ville , Red Bis , Yellow (Ivory) Bis and the Smallcoxmobile which I think I heard him say it was yellow  :P

Glad you made it home Pete.
Just as the guys said it already, it was a great show and it was good to meet up with everyone. Shame not all uf us could make it it there in our 126s, or even back, but that`s life with these little cars.
So hopefully next year again, and with even a bigger turn out.
Found this photo on the net taken by someone else :P...

Hi all, we made it back to good old Scotland, 650 odd miles round trip can't remember when Fraser and I left thought it was arround 3:30ish arrived home 10:15pm.  Great to meet and put faces to the names.  Had a great time and looking forward to next year, need to try and get more there.  I will have the 126 running for next year.  As Fraser came along without a weekend ticked Angela had booked us into a b&b, Manor House, for Saturday night to allow Fraser to come.  The accomodation was superb, 1600's cottage very clean and welcoming, the breakfast was brill. Back to the meet the 126's were outstanding and smallcoxmobile well it's as others have said you don't appreciate the amount of work untill you see it in the flesh.  The show had a vast range of vehiles from BMW's with paint stripped off and left to rust, rat look I think not my cup of tea, to top class custom full blown engine show cars.  Glad to hear all got home safe.

Just to show you guys that couldn't get to RR Gathering, Tony and his son spent most of the weekend snapping the event to show you what you missed!
So grab a drink, click on the links and enjoy the excellent photos (use the slideshow option) ;D
