Looks like it is going to be a another fun day out! A bit closer for me than the previous venue. Will we have a club stand like last year? I must make sure the event does not clash with our main holiday!

Now ,now Guys,

I thought you gents are all old school. Did you wear push bike helmets as kids in the good old days? of course not, and if you did you would without dought get beaten up at school on Monday

My boy will love going up the hill as a passenger, and as for being timed well thats what was said many times before but rules are rules.

Darrell you must get that car sorted remember our deal last year,  just don't tell the wife [-/

Best wishes and hope to see loads of 126's and beer there 8)

Never mind the push bike I rode my motorbike without a crash helmet and it was legal then. Hope that hasn't given my era away.

regardless of which school u attend, a helmet is a necessary evil these days. i'm sure the old timers have done crazy helmetless things in all types of machinery, (i'v got 35 stitches in total in my noggin) but times have changed. the coppers here will even bust a 7 y/o kid and fine him $110 for no helmet. I personally hate the things, but in a racing environment i wouldnt dare not use one. I experienced first hand how well they work and therefore how important they are. Call me a nerd, but hey, I wouldnt be writing this if it were'nt for my helmet.

Nice one Ralph , I guess that we both had more hair on our heads to protect us back then.  ;D
I often look back at some motoring experiences and wonder how I am still here  :o

Looks like it is going to be a another fun day out! A bit closer for me than the previous venue. Will we have a club stand like last year? I must make sure the event does not clash with our main holiday!

I have booked 6 places on our stand provisionally. All members that have Classic 500’s and other Classic MicroCars, it would be great to have your company over the weekend or on our stand on Sunday 21st August, Please PM or Email me if  you would like to join us, so we can organize more spaces if necessary.

As for the passenger and crash helmets, I think the RR organizers have done a great job in securing the event at this Historical Hill Climb Track, Home of the Bugatti Owners Club GB. But will also have to comply with the terms and conditions as set by the Prescott Hill Owners, Remember this is not a competition or Race.

As the rules state:   All Drivers DO need to attend a Drivers Briefing
This is to make the event a safe and enjoyable weekend for everyone while allowing you to drive quickly up the Hill Climb Course safely and minimize the risk of Accidents/Damage to Spectators, Your Self, Passenger, and Cars.

What are the chances (and how long would it take) to bring my 126 to Gloucester from Edinburgh?!

I'm game for giving it a try...mind you, not sure i would even make it across the border!

Just bought my weekend ticket so anyone else going down from scotland, it would be good to have company on route.  Need to start making preparations for the trip.
