I should have known this from the start. I think it is a Diahatsu Compagno Berlinetta designed in Turin by Vignale. They produced a spider version and I guess they are all highly sought after now. very similar to the Isuzu 117 coupe.

Course I would've got it without the clue!!! Prob not. The fact that I know so many of these obscure cars is evidence of an obsession don't you think?  Well, here's another which as lovers of tiny cars you'll probably know.
