well i understand how you feel its very hard to get members to commit time to meeting and can be frustrating , i have found it hard to rally people to meet. there is no point in a club if it is only going to be used solely on the internet. the only thing i suppose that can be done is to give members good notice before an event. i jumped on the organiser of the kit car show a couple of weeks before the actual event so was not suprised that it was only me and chris who attended. i have also suggested a meet in london (there are loads of members who are situated in this area) but got little response .  i accept that its hard for people to attend these sometimes but it appears to be all the time.

i would understand if we were running chevy/ford V8 powered hotrods at 10mpg.............but surely to whizz up to a meet at 56mpg+ for a few hours is not asking the earth is it??........id love to meet people face to face who have helped me either verbaly or with parts, buy them a beer/coke and shake hands,is this me just being old fashioned?....... :smt006

well, lets not worry too much, the most ever cars we've had at one meet was 9!! that was up north at a microcar rally. It was fantastic having that many 126's together.

I have to agree with Peter, it is hard for some people, especially when i dont arrange enough meets to suit everyone around the country, admittedly i find it hard work arranging meets up north because of th distance i have to travel. As soon as i finish my exams at end of may i will start to organise everything alot better for the summer meets. I want to do Auto italia at stamford hall, Leicestershire, we had 4 126's that day.

Mick bbq down south will be great, we'll plan it well and give everyone lots of notice then there is no excuse not to turn up.

regards

Chris

i would love to bring my 126 to most meets and like most people say have a drink and a laugh,i have met up with chris and david a few times at the micro car meet even though i havent had my 126,i will come to alot off events when my 126 is complete and on the road but find it a pretty stupid to turn up to a micro car meet or auto itallia in a bmw,it totally defeats the object to me,i really cant wait to meet alot off you but would find it arkward travelling 300miles in something thats 8 times the power and saying hi but i havent got my 126 with me...........

i will only come when my 126 is with me,
