126 ELX WIRING
« on: June 25, 2018, 08:17:33 AM »
I am fitting a complete new 500r loom from Autobella to my 126 but need to refer to an original 126ELX diagram to convert, it's mainly the column wiring I am interested in to cross over, does anybody have a copy of that system ?

At a guess I would suspect that the Bis wiring diagram would be very similar to the ELX, especially if it is just the steering column wiring that's needed.

Thanks Chris, found a couple on a Polish site but all in Polish !!

I am doing away with most switches on the stalks just want to know what they did and what wires to remove

Will look at the Bis diagrams

Cheers

well the Bis diagram helps a bit but have a question somebody may know the answer to,

The engine I have fitted has a pre engaged starter, and as well as the thick brown wire it has a red slightly thinner wire in a lucar connector right next to the main nut connector for the brown, this red wire does not appear on any of the diagrams I have, and I have quite a few !!

also does anybody have an old standard regulator box for sale , I dose not need to be  working, just to use for wire connections to the alternator, unless any other suggestions to keep the wires tidy.
