Hi Danny, I had the same problem as you, and lowering helped a lot.
I cut 1 and ¼ coils off my rear springs and it reduced the positive camber from +4° to just +1°.
I would have liked to go lower still to get into negative camber territory but the car was getting too low.
Only an inch away from sitting on the bump stops so not a lot of suspension travel.
Some people say you can reduce the positive camber by putting shims or washers behind the hub, but after studying the design of it I didn't like that idea so went down the lowering route.
The swinging arm rear suspension seems a pretty flawed concept to me. I mean having to fill your car with 4 people and a boot full of luggage just to compress the rear springs down enough to delete the crazy positive camber angle seems madness. All that weight isn't gonna do any favours for acceleration or fuel economy. All my journeys are on my own and without luggage which is why I reduced my spring height.
Running with +4° I had two problems - The outer edge of my tyre was worn out every 1500 miles, and also with the tyres 'tucked in' at ground level the car felt like it wanted to roll over every time you tried to corner with any speed at all.
