Just purchased a 126 in Poland and bringing it back to the UK.
I want to have it registered and insured in the UK.
From what i have read i will need to have the lights adjusted and speedo changed to MPH for it to pass the MOT. Has anyone on here had any expierience with this?
Also can anyone suggest which insurance company would insure?

Hi Peter,

I just noticed your comments on my other thread.

I'm with Footman James; £70-something for the year.  You'll need to insure it on the VIN.

KPH is fine for MOT, headlights can pass with temporary stick ons.  Perhaps go to an independent instead of Kwikfit.

Get an Import Pack from the DVLA, you can request it online.

Send them the completed form, MOT, Polish Reg Docs, Proof of Insurance, Cheque for £145 Tax, Cheque for £55 registration.

Not as difficult or scary as it sounds.
