Hi!

Yes it is, i posted a couple of questions about it actually in another section. Its a polish 126P Maluch Town thingy. Its a 1999 air-cooled.

My questions were around its engine electrics being different to all the others have seen?! more wires, no distributor and a black box to the left of the engine bay?

Carb has a wire going into it too!

Not sure what it all is as i can't find any parts like ignition bit on any of the online shops like ricambrio or what ever its called or Axel whatever its called lol. Any ideas?

Other than that its in great condition and goes great too! well pleased with it!

It could be an electronic ignition to bypass the points... I have something similar on one of my cars. I will try and get a photo tomorrow. 126fan is very good, they are pretty good at being cheap and getting you what you want.

Umm... it's not a wasted spark system, is it?

ISTR there's a circuit diagram for this on this site somewhere, maybe in the subscribers' section ? (don't quote me, it's ages since I saw it)

After doing more research turns out I have an ELX! Anyone have any ideas if that's a good thing, are there any pros and cons to the ELX or anything particular to them that I should look out for. So far I have her off the floor ready to do oils and brakes! So far so good! Can't wait to get out for a spin!

Finally got around to putting a pic of my car on here! My car is now in the garage and its apparently the newest 126 on here!! June 1999!! Whoop Whoop! :P

However she's unrestored and probably in worse condition than most of the other 126's on here! lol :o

But hey I'm now working on that!! Poor thing has been a little neglected! :cry:

Looks to be a nice tidy little car... LHD ?  Looks like a Japanese-style parking aid post on the (to us) offside front bumper. I always thought the Japanese had some neat ideas when it comes to parking, and if you ever go there you'll see these things everywhere, but they only ever seem to appear in the UK on imported Toyota and Mitsubishi MPVs, the front parking stalk and the angled mirror mounted above the rear door, so much better than a Fresnel screen.

Did you sort out the type of ignition you have ? Just wondering if that's what I have too...

Hi Yes its LHD and from what i can gather its an ELX 126P.....i think lol

That crazy stalk on the bumper is in fact the radio arial!!!! wiered place to put it i know!?

It was done before me at some stage. On the plus side at least there is no hole made in the body work so at least that one less place to worry about rust!! lol I know the Japanese marker stalks you mean, thats what i thought it was originally too! lol

Im not too keen on it there but sorting other things first.
