Curry Night - Halifax - HX3 8HN

Times are hard up North, but I've just found a pub doing a curry night for £6.00 a head.

It's the Travellers Inn in Hipperholme  (you don't get names like that down South!) so if anyone fancies meeting up on 1st May for a pint and a curry just let me know and I'll try and get something sorted.

They do a great lad as well, not Black Sheep, but Dirty Rat, which is a Huddersfield based brewery.  Tastes and looks like a dirty rat that's been put through a blender but in a funny kind of way it's quite nice! Just tried out a couple of pints tonight, jot bad for a tickle!

Anyway, me and Mrs BV will be there so hope some other Northerners can make it.

Rusty, I would have invited you but I'm still sulking that you went to Hull and did not stop by.

Ladislav, you're even worse,  tripping to Leeds and not saying hello.

Very nice, Dirty Rat was off so we had White Rat instead! Pete gobbled his curry down, great to see him, even if he did turn up in a Mercedes!?!

Well, the good news is Black Rat is back on, it's a guest ale so you have to be quick mind. Very nice, especially with an apple and pork pie sandwich with brown sauce (standard Yorkshire fare!) Anyway, Curry night II on 24th July at 6.30 for any 126ers that can make it (Pete  - don't be turning up in your Audi Quattro Sporting - it's a 126 meet!)
