Hey!

What stroke should i have if i want to put in 800cc in my fiat 126 engine? 75mm?

what stroke?

800cc?
750cc?
700cc?
..

Hi,

82mm bore x 70 stroke gives a 739cc displacement...

you could use 85mm pistons to get 794ccs from the standard crank.

I building a fiat 126 so i thinking to get some more power in the engine, but can i relly use the original crankshaft to 800cc cylinders? But why do they dell 75 or 82 mm stroke crankshaft's?

 This is quiet a complex thing, but it`s no point just to change either the bore or stroke without any other modifications.
 With the 75 stroke crank and standard pistons you`ll get 699cc and you could get away with just an adapter plate under the barrels.
 If you change both at the same time you`ll obviously get more cc. If you go too far with the bore you`ll have to open the block up and also get it strengthened if you use 85mm pistons and barrels.
 As I said there is loads of variations, depending on what you are after.
 Even with some bigger valves, sporty cam shaft a better carb lighter flywheel and some little modifications you can get a much more lively engine.

Okey, can i get more than 800cc in the engine with 85 pistons? I wish was that to get 800cc engine, but can i have the original 70mm crankshaft and 85 mm pistons and fix the engineblock to bigger so the 85mm pistons fit?

I wouldn't...
You could try on a fully balanced engine, mind you, it's expensive labour where I live.
I will try a fully balanced 740 setup soon, no direct experience so far. I think it's a nice compromise between performance and durability. A bit expensive for what you get in the end.

Past a certain amount of power, in certain countries it's wise to consider an engine swap.

My dream is to build a 800cc and more if that is possible on this fiat 126 engine. But if i take the 85mm cylinders and ex. 85mm crankshaft, that will be 965cc. is that possible?

what do i need if i build a 800cc engine? What crankshaft, what cylindersm .....??

Lillen, you want to be pointed at a specialist to build it for you or you want to build it yourself?
There's a lot of little things to pay attention to in order to build a strong unit (especially one with high specific output). I'll gladly leave it to others to get more specific on the matter.

Okey, i want to build it My self :) a 800cc had been nice to build. But i dont have any speciel tools. I have many tools but not those big speciel tools. But what do i need to build a 800cc engine?

I now that i need 85mm cylinders and pistons. What crankshaft do i need? 70mm?

Thanks, i did se that he install 76 crankshaft and 82 mm cylinders. But do anywone think that i can use 70mm crankshaft and 85mm cylinders?

The problem with the larger pistons is machining the block and strengthening it.  I have seen 5mm and 10mm thick plated advertised for this reason.  I thought if you went to 800cc then you would require an uprated crankshaft to handle the additional power.  FAN 126 now sell a steel crank, don't know the stoke dimension.

Do you think this could work? It have 75mm stroke and is a racing crankshaft.
