INCORRECT PETRPL PUMP 1990 126 Bis????

Hi there,just purchased a gem of a 126 Bis 1990.it has been delivered and ran fine for 10 MINUTES then died,never to go again,it has only 12000 miles on the clock and has been SORN for 4 years!plugs and spark are fine but I think?the petrol pump may be shot!no petrol coming out of pump when turned over.but..... been online and all advertised pumps for a 704cc.1990 126 say it should not have a mechanical pump but a funny looking "electric one"can anyone help me with this PLEASE!! Ray

Your quite right the bis does have a mechanical pump quite like the air cooled cars I'm not sure if they are the same but I'm sure ricambi or someone on here has one

But as you'll find out many bis owners do go over to an electrical pump as it is more reliable and saves the starter motor
