Hello Every fiat 126 owner´s ! I JUST WANT TO WARNING EVERYBODY THAT THE PHOTOS NOW IN THE BEGINING IS A BIG MESS. BUT WHEN I SAY IN THE END THAT THE MESS IS OVER I GOING TO ORGANIZE IT BETTER

I have bought me a fiat 126 1975 that i gone do a project. It´s my first 126 so i dont now anything.

I from Sweden and live in "Skåne". I bought this car because i was so TIRED to fix moped´s. I did fix many Piaggio Ciao ho also is a Italian vehicle. forgive me for my English, its not my best thing

So was the car when i did bought it. It was pretty good from rust. But the color was not good and the old owner fix a A112 70hp engine in it and mix the gearbox so the car did not was driveable, but we did drive it 40km home anyway, but it was NOT FUN!

The Engine



I did find the car on a website that we have in sweden, it called Garaget.org. We show our cars to everybody. And some owner´s before have upload some photos on the car couple year´s ago. Its was MUCH better then!

When the car was home in our garage i was little afraid, it is my first car and i saw the work i must do on it :/ But i did think if just started it´s gone be better. I was so stupid to start with the brake´s  .

It was verry difficult because it was fiat 127 discbrake at the front :/. But i did work and work with it and i did not get the discbrake in the brake when i did have new brake padels. But i do now maybe now how to do, so i think that i gone take them of again and start over

And now i did start with the rearbrake´s. it was little hard but i did fix it













And in the middle of the brake change the brakes i did put the engine out of the car. I decided to sale this engine and get a new fiat 126 engine. I now that a couple of you think that i´m crazy, but i dont like when it´s wrong things in a car or other vehicle.

I now decided me for sale the engine and the gearbox and get a new fiat 126 engine and a new gearbox, i just love new things So a couple weeks later the NEW gearbox is with me







New driveshafts?? did i buy or what is calls.

The engine and gearbox was now on sale on the Swedish market Blocket.se. The engine did bought by 2 norway guys ho drive 6-7 hour´s one way just to buy it. The gearbox did bought of a swedish guy in sweden capital city Stockholm. I did send the gearbox to him.

The money for the engine and gearbox is going to the new gearbox and engine.

After all this things i did start with the brake´s again some new parts did order and i put it on

When i pack up the gearbox i find a crack in the bellinghouse  











But the company that i order from did send a new bellinghouse and intructrions to change it and ask if that was okey. The are relly nice. So i did start to change it

Everybody need a big tool sometime





I was little afraid in this moment, i have "destroy" a half gearbox, i maybe never is gone get it complete again, or am i























The New bellhouse, now i´m just going to put every part on and dont fail

And did foget to take more picture´s when it was done. BUT NOW IS THE MESS OVER AND NOW I GONE ORGANIZE IT BETTER.
