just to say . tried it today on my 500 project ..

using a small compressor called a bandit from machine mart ... and a sealey underseal gun , that just fitted on the waxoyl can ..

and bloody hell it was easy and alot alot less messier  and took next to no time ..

and i didnt end up with w******s cramp     ....

i reccomend this method to anyone ..

as the pump supplied with the waxoyl kit is quite frankly sh1t   .....

waxoyl is great stuff

ive brought the paint also

ferrari red ( from newalk autojumble )  all in paint ,thinners etc cost £35 cant be bad .. its two pack paint ..

told is hazardous to use , but its more user friendly to the novice sprayer and it covers alot of sins  

will have the car in red oxide first though .. then a final build then a mot before final colour goes on

its very hazardous to use, you are supposed to use breathing gear, and Im sure you arent allowed to use it in your garden! also, it is a gun finish paint, you cant cut it back or anything as its very hard. its to be banned from sale in 2007 I think, and really is supposed to be only sold to the trade.

that said its bloody good paint, so use it.

and anyway, you can get those little face masks from B&Q :wink:  :wink:

there is cyanide gas in the paint a dioxide i think correct me if i am wrong

dont think a likkle paper mask gonna do the job really

hand paint it with a 4" brush and some reduced b+q eggshell

you can pick up proper breathing masks fairly cheap now i believe, might be a ebay job.

we were told to use charcoal masks ?

i am sure my welder friend has them at his work ?

if not i will buy one from ebay or somewhere

looking forward to it being done now

still got a way to go yet though

oh and before sunday i thought 2 pac was a dead rapper heheh

check out the price , an old army issue s10 respirator will do the trick the canisters are charcol filled . try an old surplus supplier they might be cheaper than a civvy mask and you wont need goggles with them.
