Rusty, that's very naughty...I'm guessing you've tried some Up North beer instead of your usual Southern shandy....so I forgive you! Have a great day everyone and be sure to upload lots of pictures for those of us that can't be there!  :)

I showed some of the guys the Fairy Grotto in the back of my car and still made it home without getting mugged  :D
Having the longest beard they all sat on my lap and told me what they wanted for Chistmas but don't worry I will not be reporting any of them  :o
Not sure whose round it was but I asked for a scotch, I got given an empty glass and got told it was the spirit of Christmas passed.
Of course then there was the roast , pud & tomatoes  :$

It was great to see everyone, thanks as always to Pete for fixing it up.

I missed the inspection of Rusty's bits out in the car park (not in front of the kids) but we enjoyed nibbling his toms...

I am so horrendously sorry I didn't make it to this! - Work is so annoying!!

The 126 is still off the road since the hellish journey back from Retro Rides '13 and I've had no time to look into what's going wrong.  Been stuck sulking and driving the Clio since!!

Something good is coming the way of the 126 though, as it's off to get restored in January - working or not!  I'm sending it to a lovely chap in Leeds to do the restoration, who's normally into Trabants and other weird cars like ours!! :-D

Shall be driving a Lada in the meantime, so still getting the 'Weird Car' hit lol ;-D

Love to you all, hope you all have a lovely Xmas and new year! xxx

Wow! Lina, you will have to drop by Villa Vitelli if you are near Leeds, we're only 18 miles away! Also, if you are okay it would be great to know the name of the chap restoring your car as I am always on the lookout for a good mechanic!  :)

Hey Bar!
Great idea! So far, hoping to stop by Rusty's on the way up too, do some bit-swapping! The place is called Mad Classics, I've only got their facebook page address: https://www.facebook.com/MadClassics. They've not done a 126 before, but they've got some great pics of a mini they once did and they're mostly into odd classics like Trabants etc, so I trust them to do the right thing for the car.  David's the guy I've been speaking to.

I'll be back in touch when I know more about dates and times for the trip :-)

That would be super, Lina, just let me know when you're on your way! There's quite a few of us up North so we could arrange a reception for you!  ;D
