126 gearbox on a112?

Hello!

I now that i have asked this before but i have a a112 engine on my fiat 126 and the owner before me said that it is a fiat 126 gearbox. I need i new gearbox now but do you gays think that the 126 gearbox are gone work?

i´m not gone drive lik hell, but i just wonder if it´s okey with the engine, that the 126 gearbox stools that.

What do you guys think?

this interests me a lot.
A lot of videos on you tube show your combo (or very similar) driven with no respect whatsoever.

I have no idea how dependable the solution is.

Smallcox uses the standard 126 Bis gearbox with the 5th gear upgrade his engine is putting out just short of 100BHP, If driven sensibly you should not have a problem

Waw! 100 hp in the original gearbox with the 5 gear kit? Thats relly cool so you think then i can have the original gearbox?

I've been reading that thread attentively. It would be nice to have an update from Smallcox: I guess he's been running that setup for a while now.

I have two 126. In the brown one I installed a 903ccm engine with ~70 PS on the original gearbox from the aircooled model. It runs good. No Problems.
