Just to warn everyone, today, tomorrow and Saturday I will be about town learning to drive a minibus!!

Spent a long day at the wheel of a clapped out minibus with a great instructor, at times I even got above 30mph

. Before we went out this morning the instructor was explaining to me that the bus is not much bigger than my usual car until I told him about Baxter :roll: . By 3pm Thursday he aims to have me at the point of passing my test.

My test will be a approx 2.30 Saturday, all going well I have my first booking from the local Womens Institute who wish to go to Hertfordshire in May.

So please, if you see a white LDV Convoy with a woman at the wheel with her eyes closed and white knuckles on the steering wheel - GET OUT MY WAY :smt103

Good luck Wendy you will be fine! Seeing that a 126 is the antithesis to a van/minbus and that it is hard enough driving a 126 on the road with all the nutters about you should be an experienced driver by now to be able to drive anything!!!

good luck with the minibus test. if you come anywhere near sittingbourne whilst in your minibus just make sure you look out for a speeding black 126 as you are in more risk from me than i of you . get your car on the road , its nearly summer .

TOP TIP . take the seats out load up BAXTER and take him for a drive as he must be missing the road a little..he he . do you offer reduced rates for members? congratulations on passing your pcv . you must get your bis on the road for detling.

detling has the festival of transport in late summer . a great day out for all the family they also allow camping to the rear of the showground (where the clay pidgeon shooting goes on) . so could be a good venue for a club gathering . i am going to pass on the info to chris when i get it . good to hear your car is on the road i thought it was in bits . we have loads of members in kent so it could be good .

Detling sounds great, I would definiately go to that.

Some little sh*t tried to steal Baxters parcel shelf and speakers the other night. Stupidly we forgot to lock the boot, my husband heard them outside and gave chase dressed in his dressing gown and no slippers! As he was catching up with the guy he decided to abandon the parcel shelf, so although he got away we got all our bits and pieces back. Don't think he'll be back though, my husband in his dressing gown is a scary sight at the best of times let alone when he's chasing you down the street!!!
