Removing Bumpers

Just wondering if there were any problems removing bumpers. As in legal and insurance.
Its so my new exhaust fits

Rear number plate light is the only issue I believe. You should inform insurance of anything you change, but most people don't bother. I only know a couple of people who have had trouble for putting alloys on, know of refused payouts on heavily modified cars, Crossflow Viva, 3.5 v8 model T, 16valve 1976 Celica.
