Hi! Advice needed on my 126 FSM

Hello! I'm new to this forum - greetings to all.

I found this site after a browse on the net, and im delighted....I recently got hold of a Fiat 126 FSM 1986. After years of wanting one! So I'm happy.

However, I have inherited it with a few small problems, and I am new to DIY car mechanics although keen to learn.

I've been told it needs new spark plugs, which shouldnt be too problematic in sorting. The tricky one is something to do with the gears. I press the clutch down, and when I try to put it into either 1st gear, 2nd gear or reverse there is a massive crunch. What is the prob here and what do i need to do?

Well done for getting your FSM, They're great cars when going right!
Sounds like your clutch might be on its way out or worst case scenario could be the gearbox (common problem on all the twin engines)
