Nigel is correct the most common way is to use shorter springs. Lowering the front pivot point is relatively straight forward, as it is bolted to the floor pan, by using a packer. Unfortunately the rear pivot anchorage is welded to the floor pan, therefore need some cutting and welding. It may be easier to raise the spring seating if you want to keep the original spec springs, this lowers the car but keeps the original springs and dampers.
