Ignition switch contactor block
« on: February 22, 2013, 01:11:44 AM »
I need the contactor block that screws into the steering lock and snugs up against the lock barrel / mechanisim. Some of the Haynes type manuals show it screw fixed to the actual lock barrel, but mine is held by 2 screws in from the front of the steering lock body, so perhaps they vary ?
Mine is a 1986 FSM Aircooled and the steering lock looks practically identical to that in a Fiat 132GL, so may be the same as in other Fiat models ?
When offered up to the 132 unit, my contactor block fit perfectly.

I require a contactor block with 4 wires, the extra being for the key activated starter solanoid.

Any help would be appreciated.
