This one looks a lot better than most, but suprise suprise needs finishing.

I recognised it. The current seller made a lot of improvements, but still not roadworthy.

Ugly the front of a 126 is what makes it a 126 it's the same as putting a hole the front of a 500

Better if the radiator was in the back, bloke in chesterfield doing a 1976 126 bike conversion making the back windows air intakes, much better

Many have or are toying/experimenting on these type or related conversions on watercooled 126s. So far, none of these conversions have been successful. Oftentimes, being abandoned for spares. What an absolute waste. That said, it would be great to see one actually finished (road legal)!

It says it has a current MOT but I suppose this is left over from B4 he chopped it up.!

ok here goes im the new owner of this car as of yesterday, a few points i intend to get this car 100% legal to please myself and others, the comment about the front being cut out i agree, if anyone knows where i can get a new panel please let me know, i will post up some pictures of this little gem in due course, as for the mot the car was mot'd with the bike engine in and uses existing engine mount points so no chassis has been cut, the engine is conected to a space frame then connected to car, i hope this doesnt sound like a rant its not, i love all old cars and this is  one of many bike engined cars i have owned this is my last one.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbZyk9U5yzQ this was rwd with 22 gears lol work that out

thanks for that cheap as chips cool, 22 gears bike engine in front with prop going to a backward to front crossflow gbox then prop from that to diff 6 bike gears then 4 normal sorry thats 24 gears you could drive flat out in 6th on bike engine then change from 1st too 2nd in cross gbox and cruise very nicely allthough gearbox wouldve lasted better being straight cut, ive confused myself again now.
