Damp interior.

The 126 has been sorned for the last two months, Hazey had a spinal op (all recovered now) and we didn't see the point of having two cars for one driver. Going to tax it in December, but it is soo damp inside that there is no way that the windows will clear, so I'm going to get experimental with it. Going to try a bucket of cat litter today, will let you know the results in a couple of days.
Any other suggestions?

I now leave small park of silica gel ( the pack you find in electrical things that say do not eat) in the back of my headlights to stop them getting damp inside.

When my car stood for a while, I removed the seat and left a electric radiator plugged in for a couple of hours.

If you have a small dehumidifier (such as an Ebac) this could be plugged in and left in the car?
Alternatively they are also available to hire.  A fan heater may also help if you cant get a dehumidifier.

Electrical solutions are out, as the 126 is about 3 miles away, and not close enough to a power point.

Cat litter is the bestest thing ever!!!! Bone dry today, seeing it had water running down the windows and you could wipe the moisture around the steering wheel 3 days ago, really not bad!! The quarterlight doesn't close well so it does get a bit damp!

Glad you got sorted.  I was going to suggest long extension leads next
