1987 126 aircooled
« on: October 12, 2012, 04:37:12 PM »
I have been offered a VW camper.

Only way of buying is sell one of my 126 Beryl (as other 2 are in Poland).

1987 aircooled, too much spent on her but we all know that story

The Good:-

10months MOT, 4 months tax
tyres done about 300 miles
Electric pump.
New headlights
interior in great condition, black vinyl
Chrome bumpers
Roofrack
Sunroof
Engine tinware powdercoated
Electronic ignition (not fitted still in packet)
Ready to use daily

Comes with spare engine 'partly disassembled', 2 doors, bonnet boot, suspension, steering, Towing frame thingy, wheels with good tyres, headlights ........ Lots of spares

The bad, alternator just stopped charging (parts on their way from Poland, will be here in 2 days)

Bottom of drivers door a bit rusty, nothing drastic but I know it is there. (good door supplied)

Sides of bonnet mark each side, been filled but not perfect (good bonnet supplied)

Blimey this is starting to sound rough (I am very fussy)

Bottom of 1 wing has a hole 50p sized, just needs sorting.

I am in Essex, you will need a large car to pick up the parts, as there is rather a lot  :$

I really don't want to sell but Family getting bigger.......

Any questions feel free to ask.

Sad to see you are selling Beryl, I am interested in the spare engine... how much would you want for it if you could sell it seperately? is it a working one?
Thanks

Looks like it is Ebay, sadly.

I hoped it would go to a forum member.

MG/MX5 boot rack, I had to modify the clamps but a simple job.
