Fiat 126 early model - 1976

Here we are with some screenshot of the work already done last year.

The body was in good condition even if the previous owner made two littles crushEd (a 92 years old grandmother.....l ).
The roof had been verified and painted as well as the rest of the body.

Rust were found behind the doors and just around.

And finally a treatment all around the fenders.

With this result

And then....... Ready for the meetings.....

Lovely!  Great to see it with 500's cos apart from styling they are really the same car!  Nice to see there is no 'snobbery' as happens so often in this country after all they are all Fiats!  Bootiful!

Lovely car! I agree. There is a bit of snobbery here. Perhaps we all should try to park with the vintage 500 cars at the next Retro Rides. It would be interesting to see how they react.

Yes of course !
500 & 126 are considered sisters cars in Italy, even if 126 is often considered as "second choice" , and not really appreciated by the collectors.
There are some clubs on wich the 126 and the 500 are not allowed ......... 
This can be considered really "snobbery" clubs.....
But in Italy 126 are very rare especially the early series, and normally during the meetings are more appreciated that the older 500 sister.

There are far fewer 126's on the road than 500's, therefore making them rarer. So if anyone should be snobbish, it should be us. 

However I also love the 500, but the 126 is better!
