Has anyone removed the front leaf spring suspension setup and fitted the uprated version with the wishbones and coiled shocks?

A few people have, I think finding springs and shocks that will actually move is the problem. The front of a 126 is around 200kg, you basically need a moped spring on each front corner.

What's the best set up? Is there much notice with the handling or is the original any different?
Anyone use the KYB shocks? I'm going to change mine just to see if the new shocks help.
