My name is Russell Hindley, and I'm contacting you on behalf of New Mills Festival in New Mills, Derbyshire.

As part of our festival in September last year, we featured a Fiat 126 with a wollen cover made by a local knitting club. The car was borrowed from a scrap dealer, but unfortunately it's no longer available.

Our current need is slightly different. We want to put a 126 in the town carnival parade on June 24th, but we have no car. We do still have the cover but as you can see from the attached pics, it won't fit any other bodyshape.

Would any of your members be prepared to have their car taken around the carnival on a trailer, with the woollen cover on? The car doesn't need to roadworthy, it's the bodyshape that's important.
