Been thinking about getting the alloys painted, they are silver at mo but thinking of a classic off white, what do you think?  Here is the car at the mo....

Looks good as it is, would be worried to take the step myself.

If that was the same alloys that I saw when I first met you at Stanford Hall, Auto Italia, it actually looked great!

I'd go chroming if it were to cost nearly the same. Would better suite the bumpers IMHO.

May go down this route then.  The wheels are becoming a bit shabby so need a spruce up!  I have been looking on google images and may stick with the silver.....

if you are going to repaint them anyway why paint a wheel in the cream to see how it looks if it isnt right just flat it off and go over the top with you next choice...
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

I agree with Stuey's point, you can try lots of colours or even better take a side on pic and use Photshop to go through all the colour choices.

MY 126 which is red has currently got white powdercoated 13 inch rims which really suit the look of the car (create a nice sporty contrast against the solid red colour).  However my new rims are split rims (from Braid spain) and are gold powdercoated centres with polished rims which will give my car a differnt look again.

I you went for a bright blue of some kind and added a matching bonnet/roof stripe and maybe a side stripe to match in might look nice.

cheers Doug
Its slow but it does it in style !!

Showing my age I know but back in the 60's had an art student friend who fully embraced the "Flower Power" concept with his Ford van and where it said colour in the log book it actualy said "MULTI COLOUR FLORAL"  ;D
Had bath taps in the holes where the wing mirrors would have been as well. I guess if you like something a little more contempory then you could go for some Cath Kidston alloys  :P
