Ok i know where there is a fiat 126 f reg in white , well maybe lemon ? It has been in a dry metal barn for 10 years without turning a wheel , its on top of a container .
I had some tyres put on my fiat a few weeks ago and a guy who was there said " i know where there is one of those in a barn near here"
And so the search began , i finally spoke to the farmer today and basically the car belonged to a chap who was renting the barn ten years ago and cleared off owing the farmer 2 k , so he put it up on the top of the container to stop the chap removing it if he ever came back , as the barn is often open due to new renters coming and going .
So if you brought it you would have to apply for the v5 , the farmer says the old owner has moved to france years ago so there should be no prob there, even if he wanted to make a claim he would have to pay the farmer 2 k plus ten years storage.
So i offered the farmer £200 for it and said i would go into the barn and look at it then call him to arange collection ,
The car is covered in dust and looking around it , it needs two tyres pumping up and the drivers seat is worn, there is a few minor dents here and there and one or two minor rust spots the size of a fifty pence peice, other than that it looks good , not mint but a very good project car at least .
When i was looking for mine i could not find one anywhere so to me this is a bargin and well worth a look .
In the time between me first hearing about this car and today , i found a guy breaking a very good red bis so i brought a engine / box bonnet and all the bits i needed , so basicly i do not need any parts and have not got the room to put this one if i buy it, i paid well over £200 just for the parts mentioned above
So if anyone is interested reply to this post . Car located in braintree essex
