Big ask.
« on: February 25, 2012, 09:19:11 PM »
Possibly huge.

The mot is up on the BIS, and we are skint.
Would anyone (within an hour or two of hunstanton) be up for lending me two legal, bolt on wheels and tyres and a headlamp until I get the desired bit of paper (stupidly cheap would also do, but would be maore comfortable borrowing then paying sensible price when I can). Pretty certain it is only these and the window washers that are an issue.

Please believe that this is below the level of cheekiness that I except/expect from others, just wish I knew a few faces already.

p.s I did have to get a tad tipsy to post this as I know it is asking quite a lot.

Marc (kisses available on request :D)

p.p.s feel free to say no.

The distance isn't that strict, just a guide line (isle of white/ scotland and slovakia are a bit far ;D), will furnish whoever with a bank statement for my address!!!!
Or pay petrol and take for a pint if you would prefer to know where exactly I live( as long as you are not coming from isle of white/ scotland or slovakia).

Marc you can borrow my headlamp for your mot- you can try my wheels but I think they will be a bit wide for a stock car but again you are welcome to come and try them, let me know if that helps and I will pm you my phone number.

More than willing to help. May have a couple of wheels and a headlight in garage :D

But would need picking up from Essex. Or we will be in Hunstanton for a break in July if you can wait that long?

Bloody tourists ;D July is a bit far away, thank you very much anyway, may be a trip to Essex for me though.
Stuey, sounds good, please do pm me. My car is extremely standard, probably sits high enough to not be an issue.
You are both leg ends :D

Peterborough is fine. Hoping to be sorted before then, but will give you a shout if not.
Thank you.

Morning Marc , how is your hangover this morning ?  :o
I am probably located a bit too far away to help you on this one but it did occour to me that you could fit a pair of air cooled 12" wheels no problem or if you can get your hands on some old Panda, Uno or Cinquecento wheels they would fit.
What is the problem with the headlamp ?

Cheers everyone, sourced some very good part worns for £15 fitted, only sat in the way at my favourite mot place weren't they ::)

Still need a light for a week or two (reflector is rustier than a rusty thing), think Stuey has one, and is pretty close.

Thanx once again for all the replies.
