Am assuming it is the regulator, are they built in to the alternator on a Bis?, Is there anything else that could cause it?. Checked it with a fairly basic battery checker (no numbers, just lights for ok, under or overcharging). If I put the lights, fan and stereo on it says it is ok which I can't remember happening with dodgy regulators on other cars.
