Prescott hill climb is on a road between GRETTON and GOTHERINGTON, if you find gretton follow signs for GOTHERINGTON and STANLEY PONTLARGE.  Go past STANLY PONTLARGE turn and you can't miss Prescott which is a few hundred yards further on.  Hope this helps.

We are coming on sunday so see you all then! :D :D

I'll do my best to put the tent up for you too - going to get there early anyway :)

Just topped up the petrol and pumped the tyres on fleet Vitelli, we'll be ready to set off at 6.00ish, if it's pouring down we'll be in the rough and ready De Ville, if it's not too bad it will be time for a convoy and we'll bring our other 2 cars down!  Looks like the 126 record is going to go!  Don't take the picture without us!  ;D

Sleep well!  We've just finished packing up, a few hours kip now and then setting off first thing, so prepare to have your peace shattered by four screaming kids...

Bit of a scare, couldn't start the blue car...managed to get it working so just need to finish packing and we're aiming to set off at 10.00, 166 miles, 3 hour trip, so should be there in 5!  The sun is shining up North...so the convoy is on it's way!

We just got back from our holiday today. I a bit shattered from the journey but really looking forward to the drive to the RR despite the heat. Hope I get there in one piece. Still reeling from the coupling incident last year!

Just got back. It took over an hour longer than usual. There was a massive accident on the M40 involving five vehicles.

A lovely day. It was great to see everyone. It was good to meet new members as well. It was also fantastic to meet Martin and Veronica who made the trek to the RR. Nice turnout of 126s. There was the usual fair of stock and modified cars doing the hill climb. Trust everyone got home safely. I left my camera at home, so look forward member's photos.

I am pleased that the car behaved itself. Stopped for about 30 minutes to stretch my legs. Got back to the car. It basically flew - weird. I think atmospheric and road conditions (flat) were perfect. I was coaxed by two young drivers (lowered golf MKII and a Focus with xenons) to drive the car fast. My satnav recorded 85mph. The speedo needle was at 6 o'clock. The car did not seem to mind cruising at 80ish mph. The two cars backed off in the end. The drivers looked stunned and gave me the thumbs up. It was surprisingly steady. Loved every minute of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In retrospect, I'll probably not do it again!!!
