Hello from Gloucester
« on: December 15, 2011, 05:51:48 PM »
Hi all

Decided to join the club as I have just purchased my fourth 126 bis. This one is coming from Hatfield and will be home in a few days.

I have previously owned a Fiat Topolino 500A, 1972 Fiat 500L, 1973 Fiat 500 Giardineria, plus the aforementioned three 126s, the last of which I sold about 2007, just before I bought three Honda Z600s.

I'm no stranger to Fiats - my wife is onto her second Punto cabriolet, and I've owned the smaller cars over the years.

I also own a Messerschmitt a Bond Minicar, a Berkeley and an NSU Prinz.

I shall go searching for pics - two of my current fleet with a Fiat 126 tucked away in the background ...

Hello and welcome to the forum! You have got a nice collection of cars. Is it difficult to get parts for the Messerschmitt? I rarely see these cars even in classic car events.

I never manage to Prescott despite it being so close. However, I should make an effort with at least one of the toys.

I shall dig up some other pics of Fiats I have owned shortly.

Reminds me too, must log into RR more often- I use the same user name almost everywhere!

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

It's quite easy to get most parts for the Messerschmitt - there is a very good owners club - you can buy bodies even, as well as most mechanical parts and pretty much everything to keep it on the road.

Did you buy the white Fiat 126 Bis on ebay?
