I didn't read the whole thread from start but are you going to get this street legal? I don't know about what kind of rules you have in Germany but with that engine it would be impossible to get it street legal here in Finland.

Hi Tate,

You are right. I want to get it street legal in Germany. It isn't simple and a bit tricky but I spoke with some peopüle from german TÜV, so I think I get it.

Today I sandblasted my flywheel and on saturday I will install the engine again!!!

Hello,

I stopped the oil leak and the engine runs again.

Later I built a new intake for my carburator so it stands in right position.

It's not easy. I spoke very much with the person which will check and legalized my car and I must comply the rules in german.
It's difficult for me to describe it in English.
It Germany is iz possible to get a special national permission.

Can you tell how did you made that front susepnsion step-by-step because they are 900 euros in Italy, and it would be cheaper to do it ourselfes. Also Could you tell us please from what car did you get that parts from ? Thanks a lot

I built the front suspension by myself. I don't used parts from other cars. I started with something like this:

Feel free to write in german because I have studied german few years. I wan't to know how you will do it and what is your "master plan"?  ;D I have my own plans if I shall go with 4-cylider engine in my 126.

Very good job Fiatos ! :)  I would be much interested doing springs suspension in my 126 some time in the year aswell but im afraid it will be too difficult for me :(

Your doing a great job Fiatos. I thought about turning a gearbox up-side-down to achieve the right turning direction. Great sollution! Does it not result in oil leaks at some places... Did you achieve a 'normal' gearshift-pattern, or is it backwards?

On Saturday I set again before the rear axle. I need more toe-in, that I must unfortunately tranfer the nuts to attach the front support bracket some millimeters (No inches ;-)). :headscratch: :rant

The balance is OK, but I had some work at the rear axle.

Last Friday I got the papers from the MOT, so I can finally register the car. YEAH!
Now I can finally install the hydraulic handbrake and the other brake calipers for the rear axle.
