Price ideas?

Hopefully it won't come to this, but i might sell my BIS 

Any ideas what i might get for her? Hard to say, prices seem anywhere between a few hundred pounds, and a few thousand!?

She's an '89 with 16,000 on the clock, 100% rust free and all original as far as i can see. Not far off mint. Video of her:

This is the problem I have had with trying to price up mine.  Maybe just be open to sensible offers above a grand.  The mileage is really low on yours too which is a great selling point & rust free. 

Good luck with the sale and I'm sure the friendly folk on here will have some advice & offers for you.

I think your looking nearer 2grand than 1 as some bad ones have sold for nearer the grand mark?!
If you have the right buyer who really wants it they will pay.

My car and yours are very similar. I paid £1350 for mine of a chap in Barnsley a month ago and he had it up on ebay for a while before I came along. I believe he may have had more interest if he had more photos posted and a better description as the car was almost mint.
Try it on ebay with a reserve you'd be very happy with and see how it goes. If it doesn't reach the reserve it will give you a good idea of the value.

Personally, I think you can sell it for more than two grand, and I am not just saying that because I have a 126 Bis. I actually bought mine for well in excess of £2K. I know of another forum member that also bought his 126 Bis in excess of £2K. Okay, I know many forum members are quite skeptical about what it can sell for but if you are not in a rush, eventually you will sell it for at least £2K given the condition of your car plus low mileage. If I was still on a lookout for a 126 Bis today, I would have bought yours especially after having seen your current and previous Youtube videos of your car. It showed almost all the angles of the car, even on the move and with the sound of the engine - it is in very good condition. The other forum member I mentioned earlier bought his Bis from a seller who posted over 50 photos of the car. The seller of my Bis also posted 50+ photos. They marketed the cars quite well but it still took them a while before they sold thier cars. I am sure a 126 enthusiast is out there but timing is all. Make sure you post loads of photos and make sure there is a video link of your car on Youtube.

Thanks chaps, very helpful. I'm not selling it for sure yet, i do genuinely love the car and i feel if i got rid, i would struggle to find another good one, and probably want it back!

I guess the price isn't the issue then, it's finding an enthusiast willing to pay the right price! I appreciate a picture is worth 1000 words etc, and i would probably make a huge catalogue of pics to show people, not to mention videos. Nothing worse than seeing an ad on eBay that reads "Fiat 126, good nick for year, any questions ring XXX" I hate it when people don't care about their cars!

Anyway, i'll keep you updated, you'll be the 1st to know if i do sell, and the car i'm thinking of getting has a 5 month build time anyway so no rush at all
