i'll keep an eye out on ebay/gumtree etc but if theres anyone in here debating selling one then bear me in mind  8)

based in Berkshire, closer the better!

There's a Fiat 126 'town maluch' exactly like mine, colour and all!  Abandoned up the road from me here in Poland! Saw it there by the shops last night!

I am not exactly local (Nth Suffolk) but am considering selling my project 126 as have owned her for approx a year now and still not finished her due to lack of time etc. She is a 1982 126P aircooled chrome bumper model, if interested and you can promise her a good home then we may be able to do a deal? Steve.

Try:-

 Shipley.com

Put in both postcodes and info, people then bid 'down' for the transport. Works out very very cheap  ;D

I have used Shipley before for a motorcycle and it really is cheap, may be worth a go? ;)

had a look at shiply

from my postcode to Lowestoft High Street its 167.5 miles.

If i were to drive myself id need at least £50 in diesal and rent a trailer for £50. if i went alone id spend a fiver on bottles of coke and bag of sweets. if i took the wife and kids for a 'road trip' id need a lot more for lunch breaks, kids stuff and probably a divorce lawyer after being cooped up in the car mainly on motorways and A roads alllll day.

best quote from shiply so far (emails keep coming in) is £125 which isnt that bad at all in comparison. only thing that gets me the most is spending so much in delivery for a car of a similar value! which then begs the final question - how much is the 126?!

I value my little Fiat at a bit more than £125 lol! She stands me in £450 but I want her to go to a good home so £300 would be the minimum I would accept. With delivery thats going to be £425 so not exactly a cheap project anymore I guess? Keep looking and check back with me in 6mths, if I havent got any further then price may drop but not at the moment as got nothing planned for winter! :-
