Perhaps they just put one zero too much in the listing? £35.000???
Also says nothing has been changed on the car and it has a dynamo... hmmm....

I was absolutely gob smacked when I saw it  :o

My theory is that the person who listed it (assuming he/she is Polish as this is where the car is located) thinks £35,000 in our currency is maybe equivalent to something like £3,500 in their currency, but I'm doubtful  :-

Wish we could see how much someone has offered  >:(

The engine looks certainly to have done more mileage than 108Km, especially with the amount of rust on the exhaust manifold elbows, also looks like the engine breather pipe is missing?

Looks like a miss-price to me?

Looks fairly genuine to me, but a bit oily round the oil pump housing ? Engine a bit dusty but perhaps been sitting 20 years, would depend on how sheltered / breezy the storage was ? Tires would probably be aged and cracked / not long last once back on the road, purely due to age. Odd that breather hose gone but might have been flogged to some other use ? But under pan and heatsheild look to be there. Brakes could be corroded inside ?
Totally over priced !

If this guy is for real then he is definately on cloud cuckoo land  :o . Ive just done a quick search...list of BRAND NEW cars you can have in the UK for this money....
  • Audi A4 3.2 Quattro S-Line £35,175
  • BMW M3 Sports Edition - £35,575
  • Jaguar XF 3.0D V6 Luxuary £35,950
Although none have them have the charm of a 126 of course  :D and you cant put a price on that i spose, but if i had too i dont think it would be close to £35k LOL.

Not a good idea to run the engine with its original oil by the way.

This kind of things happen here too from time to time. I have been checking local online auction site for some months now and see people make themselves believe to have inherited a field of gold. Sweet dreams to them all.

Are people that own these little cars turning into VW owners? Because they have artificially raised the value of there vehicles themselves and there is always some silly bugger willing to buy them!!

I got out some time ago because of it, a friend just got a "Rat look" satin black bug and paid £1100 it may have MOT and tax but it is a pile of poo !!!!  I havent told him that as he is in love.

Some people............
