3 wheels on my wagon
« on: June 09, 2011, 05:07:59 PM »
Hi all, I've bought a (very scruffy) trike made from a 650cc 126  :o, triked in 1993 but I don't know when the car was first made. The battery became dislodged when towing it home from Dorset to Kent and knocked the distributor cap sideways, I didn't notice and when trying to start it the carbon brush snapped off and the rotor arm tried to cut its way out through the cap...
Currently awaiting arrival of the new cap (£2.50 ;D) & arm (£1.75 ;D)
I haven't quite mastered this computer stuff yet but I'll post some pix if anyones interested (and if I can get this borrowed digital camera to play ball ::))

Good luck with the trike, Be nice to see some pictures. Shame to see a 126 'murdered' but as you bought it ready done I won't blame you ;D

I'd like to see a few pictures of that tryke, too.   I have a "spare" 126 that has been "decommissioned" before it was given to me (in Italy that means it can never be returned to the road).   I would like to find a neat project for it like a tryke or dune buggy and not just shred it for parts...
