Fiat 126 Rear Disc Brake Kit

Has anyone installed rear disc brakes on a 126? The existing drum brake configuration is sufficient to stop the car but always useful to convert the front drums to disc brakes. But the rear as well?

Wouldn't say no if I could adjust brake balance inside the car.

In winter my disc brake front-end can lock-up easily which would be nice to move the balance to the rear a bit to try avoid this, but would disc rears lock up

I am in the middle of gathering the components to convert the rear to discs.  Have addapter plates from TRS, I think, plus a set of calipers off a polense problem is getting spares for the old calipers.  Been down the breakers to see what is available, just to decide which set to go for.  TRS sold a balance adjuster which was placed in the cab to allow adjustment, dont have one yet.  I will keep you informed of my progress.

has any one sussed out a home brew kit for these.
on the trike scene a lot of folk use robin reliant axels, (drum rear brake), and they use a mix of golf mk1/2/3 calipers and nova disc with bolt on/weld on caliper mounting.
wondered if any one had sorted a brekers yard marrage, rather than the £350/450 kits i seen on ebay.
the golf rears have a work gear handbrake  biult in, thats what makes them popular.
