Brief respite from the Christmas/New Year "campaign" , also more thawing so most snow gone after 11 days so as my car lives under a cover outdoors I partially peeled back the cover to see if it would start
A prolonged pull on the starter lever and we had ignition
I wanted to let the engine heat warm up the car so left the cover on . I then realised that the cover was sucked in over the 500 cooling air intake , quick panic then thought that it was in fact acting as the equivelent of a radiator blind by restricting the the cooling air . The engine thermostat opened quicker than normal as it was up to temperature, funny how these things work [-/
