Pink 126p Croatia
« on: October 29, 2010, 09:39:04 AM »
Hello,

I am from Croatia so sorry if I spel something wrong, because my english is not exelent..

My name is Goran, I came from small island Korcula(Croatia) and I made this 126p for my girlfriend..We buy it for 200e in a solid condition. It was 1989 year, white color, engine was good(its still in car).

My girlfriend tell me once that she want her's 126 in pink color, so I give myself a "little" work :-).

First I gave her rims and tyres from my Yugo, BCW Powertech 7x13 et 25 with dunlop 175/50 tyres, du the rusty places and paint them with primer for steel ,change halfshafts(i don't know is that correct name for it), do homemade sunspension(cut one ring of spring back and get streight front "gibanj") and finish the rusty bodywork parts(change two really rusty parts) so I can start preparing it for paint.

Then i finalize the bodywork and paint it in primer for color

And it's finally painted

And this is how it look when all parts are at the one place :-)

 :D

and some funny pics

Still to do:

Mount old type of little crome bumpers(I got them at home, just need to polish them and put on car)
Find pink seat covers and accesories for steering wheel, gear and foot pedals
Make a big HELLO KITTY sticker and put it on hood(girlfriend's wish :) )

If you find any mistakes do not mind because I am yust 19 year's old boy who loves cars but doesn't have a garage or all tools I need..I worked mostly in the parking lot in front of my house and borrowed a tool that I haven't got. When friends have free garage I came in but that was one or two times maybe...

10 days ago I bought myself a 126p and now I am collecting parts. When I collect all of them, I will start working on it.
cheers, Goran

Hello and welcome to the forum. You have done a lot of good work on the car and what a transformation, well done. The alloys and the clear headlights look great! Will you do the interior next?
