Cheap restoration project 126 WANTED!!
« on: September 22, 2010, 08:10:59 PM »
Hi guys,

Importing the 126 from Poland hasn't worked out for various reasons so I'm looking for a 126 (pref. air-cooled) in need of a restoration for up to £120-ish. Anyone have one at that price OR seen one advertised anywhere?

Many Thanks,

Ive got an 1987 aircooled "126 Brown" but repainted yellow shed that you could restore if feeling brave.

Its only worth scrap value, it lacks engine and gearbox although I could sell them seperately.

The sills are rotten, the bootlid its rusted as is the bonnett. It has surface rust all over and holes in the front wheel arches. Its yellow

Good points:

Erm.....................  Well the doors are reasonable, erm, the interior is complete and in good condition, it has all its lights and glass. Has some good tyres.

95 of your finest pounds would buy it and it would come with keys, the V5 and my best wishes lol.

Now 12 126's on Ebay, a few about the £100 mark, so plenty about. Why did you decide against bringing one over from PL?
